"Veranda" Addition - Cheltenham
Location: Cheltenham Central
Style: Contemporary
Category: Extension
Interior Design: Client
The client for this impressive edwardian style hotel was seeking an addition to replace a dated conservatory to the rear, with a semi sunken basement level, this project was not without it's difficulties.
The overall style of the extension was to add a contemporary "veranda" style addition to allow the owner to reside in, or an additional fully serviced accommodation for future guests.
With a large glazed wall with built-in blinds, a balcony overlooking the lovaly gardens of the original hotel, and vast vaulted ceilings, its easy to see why we love this project so much. This is before we even start talking about the basement level...
The stairs lead to a new vast double bedroom, with letterbox style window to the side allowing as much light as physically possible when sunken - paired with an impressive glazed box window, tying the interior design into the overall build. Finishing it off with an impressive stone tiled bathroom.
