Ground has broken on our latest project: "The Annexe", situated within the grounds of a lovely Grade II listed Thatched Roof cottage, the client wanted to replace their existing concrete framed garage to an ancilliary annexe for family members, whilst also retaining some storage space. Allowing electric vehicle charging, solar panels, water storage butts and additional ecological enhancements, the project made it through planning without a hitch!

Internally, the build acts as its own mini-dwelling, with a mezzanine floor providing bedroom space and storage, and below encompassing a Lounge, Kitchen, Shower Room and dining room.

Due to the integration of all the elements that consitute a new build, the construction and building regulations application has been classed as such, special attention was applied to the working drawings to enable the optimum thermal efficiency, fire rating and Glazing Specifications.
